I’ve set out on a new professional path that feels very right, clear, and obvious – it’s the journey I’ve been traveling on for a long time now and didn’t even realize. I’d like to share this new path with you.
Here’s how it came about…
For the past few months, I’ve been studying and discovering how to help stressed out and busy individuals transform their bodies… and their lives. After a lot of passionate research, professional training in psychology, nutrition, and optimal performance, I’ve realized that it’s time to turn this passion into practical knowledge for the real world (AKA skills you can use in your everyday life that help you lose weight, gain energy, and transform your body and mind!)
So, I’m officially launching myself as a certified Health/Life Coach.
I have been coached through this myself and saw the benefits; therefore, I am stepping out into my calling as a coach who wants to help you enhance your mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health. I have come to understand how they all go hand-in-hand. I decided to further my education after graduating with my bachelors from Texas A&M University to get my Health/Life Coaching certification to follow my heart in serving people like you.Start your Journey
Here’s what a Health Coach is….
A Health Coach is a supportive mentor who helps clients feel their best through food and lifestyle changes and personalized, one-on-one encouragement. A Health Coach is not just someone who coaches on nutrition; a Health Coach is someone who inspires aliveness across all areas of someone’s life.
What makes a Health Coach unique? To live a vibrant life, we all need holistic support. As a Health/Life Coach, that guidance and accountability with exercise, nutrition, relationships, career and spirituality is exactly what we strive to aid each client with.
With the relentless demands of work and life responsibilities, what we are doing to try to transform our bodies is no longer working and we’re looking for something greater.
Sometimes people don’t know what to do to change their bodies, but more often it’s that we’re stuck in a rut and don’t know how to get out of it. 95% of our behavior occurs out of habit, either unconsciously or in reaction to external demands.
That’s why we struggle to make changes that last. Even when the need for change is obvious and our intentions are strong, we often fall short.
Here’s what a Life Coach is….
A Life Coach is someone who helps their clients, and themselves, overcome fear in order to create the life they want. When you dispose of fear and become connected to your truth, then you can express and be in touch with your personal power.
So, why are coaches needed?
Traditional Doctors, dietitians and other practitioners contribute to healthy living, but they don’t necessarily have the time or resources to help their clients build healthy habits and change their lifestyle on a daily basis. Therefore, people default to their set habits, even when they know those habits make them feel lousy. A coach considers all areas of a persons life and address a wide variety of wellness factors. Health Coaches work in conjunction with physicians, nurses, and dietitians and serve to fill a void in our current healthcare system. Top doctors believe that lifestyle medicine is the future of healthcare, and I will gladly be apart of that. I am networking and communicating with practitioners frequently who have patients that need further lifestyle and health adjustments. This includes a number of health concerns, from chronic diseases to mental illnesses such as stress and anxiety.
Without the right support and accountability, this dysfunctional cycle will continue and, in many cases, get worse.
That’s where Health Coaches like me come in, to provide the right SYSTEM, SUPPORT, and ACCOUNTABILITY so you can – finally – make a total body transformation.
